Service Description

In this hands-on journalism class we will learn how to interview and write articles that may then be featured in our yearbook or in newsletters/blogposts! We will learn a little about the history of journalism, the law and journalism, and the types of journalistic writing (sports, opinion/editorial, investigative, reviews, news). Some of the skills we will cover included using open/closed ended questions, taking accurate notes, and of course writing the who, what, when, where of the day! Students will need to write and turn in their work using a laptop or tablet in class.
