Service Description

***This class meets two times a week in order to read longer books! (As requested by the students!)*** This is a session-long class (8 weeks, meeting 16 times) in which we will read at least one novel together, learn age-level appropriate analysis of character, setting, plot devices, dialogue, vocabulary, etc. Critical thinking and discussion are a big part of the class. Learning to enjoy reading is the bottom line! Possible novels - Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (Riordan), The Hobbit (Tolkien), Ready Player One (Cline), The Hunger Games (Collins).
